Position: Storage Architect Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: 3 months Rate: open Must have Netapp Storage experience This position is Architect level role with focus on the following: 1. Review and implement best practices throughout virtualization stack - server, storage, network. 2. Act as trusted advisor to customer 3. Work closely with account team on providing best solutions for customer environment Virtualization Engineer/VMware Administrator to manage and monitor VMware clusters in KLG environments, from Development through to ownership and support of Production environments, using VMware Infrastructure and vSphere. The role requires some network knowledge and the ability to work with Storage, Network, Windows and Unix department to coordinate tasks. Scripting, diagnostics and performance tuning are all responsibilities of the Virtualization Engineer/VMware Administrator Responsibilities: . Manage VMware Infrastructure/vSphere clusters on Production, Corporate and Test/Development environments Skills: Performance Testing, Vmware ESX, Windows Host, SQL Additional Skills: OS Administration; Capacity Planning; Provisioning; Best Practice Knowledge Transfer; Status Reports; Netapp Storage Array; Exchange Job Information Hire Details: We are looking for a resident more skill set focused on VMware than storage but someone who has NetApp experience obviously as this will be the storage platform. VMware P to V's, performance, etc. I don't think there is VDI or a particular app that the customer is looking to virtualize that we need any other focused skillset for at this time just overall VMware strong VMware skillset.
