*This is for a HealthCare industry client* *Lead Business Analyst* *Location: Philadelphia, PA* *Duration: Long term contract- 12-24 months* *Submittal Rate: $55 C2C* *Requires face to face interview* *Job Description:* *Required Skills:* · Previous Health Care experience · Strong Datawarehousing experience · Ability to query a data warehouse · Strong SQL skills- ability to write basic SQL Queries · Ability to do source to target mapping or data mapping - Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle - Experience working with HealthCare claims, Claims Formats and XML a plus - Level III -- Lead/Subject Matter Depth and Breadth - 2-4 years of Lead experience *Responsibilities:* - Leads/consults regarding the implementation of Requirements Management best practices in projects. - Works directly with Management/Project Management to develop a requirements project strategy and incorporate in overall project plan. - Utilizes various Requirements Management techniques (ex. brainstorming, facilitated sessions) in order to facilitate stakeholder dialogue across all levels of Management and staff. - Manages any number of the following exercises: defines terms, conducts stakeholder analysis, elicits business needs, conducts business process modeling work, facilitates work sessions (JAD), elicits requirements, writes requirements and use cases, analyzes requirements, validates & prioritizes requirements, traces requirements to related project documentation (process models, designs, test scenarios & scripts). - Negotiates complex scope issues and works in the best interest of the project. - Excellent oral and written communication skills including elicitation and facilitation. - Communicates via appropriate means (status reporting, progress reporting and forecasting) - Identifies issues and risks associated with requirements activity and relays to project management. - Mentors team resources in key requirements skills. - Ensures that quality controls and methods for monitoring and measuring quality are incorporated. - Supports ongoing process improvement activity within Requirements Management as well as related SDLC practices. - Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring business and I.T. professionals at various levels. - Strong knowledge of Requirements Management software (or similar tools) and formal requirements management principles. - Knowledge of healthcare insurance business and information systems processes preferred. - Extensive experience in multiple and diverse environments and applications. Knowledge and experience in all major functions, issues and considerations of the subject matter. Resource has played a leadership role in establishing standards, policies strategy and best practice. Ability to discuss industry and marketplace trends and directions and site relevant case studies. Resource has had an influence on wide or high-impact decisions and initiatives and has a theoretical background and understanding of the subject matter. Capable of managing and manages a diverse and complex suite of projects simultaneously. Experience managing cross-functional projects/project teams - Analytical skills, Business Strategy/Development, MS Visio, Presentation, Software Development Lifecycle, Verbal Communication, Written Communication - Additional Skills: Additional skills required include: SQL, knowledge of relational databases, data mapping and experience using/developing reporting applications. - Informatics is a fast paced division.
