Senior Security Specialist Mountain View CA 6 months Phone screen only Desired Experience: Ø Experience (typically gained from 2-3 years) working with: Ø Experience working with SIEM solutions, usually gained over 3-5 years, with a RSA Envision strongly preferred Ø Knowledge of network-based and system-level attacks and mitigation methods and related Networking hardware - routers, switches, load balancers, etc. Ø Knowledge of system-level attacks and mitigation methods with a core competency in Microsoft Windows, Linux or Mac OS X. Ø Experience (typically gained from 2-3 years) with firewalls and application identification and tuning. Experience with Palo Alto Networks is highly desirable Ø Wireless network security devices such as Cisco WAS Ø Experience with VPN configuration and troubleshooting (both IPSEC and SSL) on Cisco ASA platforms Ø IPS technology experience with Sourcefire 3D, RNA and RUA preferred Ø Familiarity with vulnerability management - QualysGuard Enterprise Suite & PCI Ø Extremely process and detail oriented Ø Strong written and verbal communication skills Desired Certifications: * CISSP strongly preferred (special consideration given for ISSEP concentration certification) * Strong relationships with security & network experts within the region * General networking (e.g. CCIE, CCNP, CCDP) or other security (e.g. CCSE, CCSP) professional certifications Thanks & Regards Naveen Sr Techincal Recruiter Advent Global Solutions, Inc.
