Role: Sr. Web Methods Lead Duration: 6+ Months Work Location: Exton, PA Rate: Open Start date: ASAP Interview: Immediate SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Technical Lead is a member of the Client's Solution team and will have full time project delivery focus. Responsibilities include: v Analyze business requirements and develop system requirement specifications. v Convert business and system requirements into detailed system design and technical specifications. v Provide technical leadership for integration projects v Provide technical leadership / support to developers who are executing the integration strategy as architected v Possess knowledge and expertise in the web Methods technologies and solution components necessary to deliver a complete integration solution v Provide impact analysis for change orders and document changes v Work with the Product Managers on to gather and finalize requirements. v Provide work estimates for project proposals. v Perform configuration management activities as assigned in the project Software Configuration Management (SCM) plan. v Conduct code reviews for code written by other project team members. v Plan and Manage the build cycle for the project and the release cycle v Communicate the status of bugs, issues, design changes, etc., to the Project Manager that arise during coding and testing. v Work with clients and Project Manager to resolve technical issues. v Ability to manage other technical resources and management of their day-to-day activities and key decisions. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: v Minimum of 8 + years of general experience related to technology (e.g. software development, integration, etc.) v 3+ years experience with an object oriented programming language (Java preferred). v Min 6 years experience with B2B technologies. Web Methods tools and technologies with version 6.5 and 7.1.2 is a must. v Very good understanding of complex SQL and using relational databases is required (specific work with Oracle is a plus). v 2+ years working experience with J2EE frameworks and/or Open source technologies v Experience with UNIX/Linux is a must. v Working knowledge of the SDLC methodologies with Agile. v Ability to teach / mentor others PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: This results-oriented individual must possess good communication skills, verbal and written. This individual must be flexible, adaptable, and have the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. In addition, this individual must be able to work independently and have an entrepreneurial spirit. EDUCATION AND TRAINING: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Engineering from a US University, or equivalent work related experience is required. Certifications are a definite plus.
