This position is responsible for the management of multiple key projects affecting client’s Asset Management business units. Position will provide support to management in implementing complex solutions across the organization, specifically to address AUM, Asset Allocation, and Performance & Attribution reporting. 5+ yrs experience - Responsible for management of the entire project lifecycle from project definition/scope through implementation. Develop project plan and drive project milestones. Employ project management methodologies and tools, like MS Project. Identify, coordinate, and manage resources and key stakeholders for project. Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Manage all communication plans, training and documentation. Deliver projects on time, at/under budget and within scope. Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the lifecycle of the project. Position requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio. 3-5 years of prior experience in project management is required. *Additional Job Details:* Working knowledge of Investment Management business. Working knowledge of basic Investment Management systems and data (experience with Barclay's POINT, FactSet, Client AIM, and Portia a plus) Superior analytical and diagnostic skills. Extensive knowledge and understanding of process design, analytical and productivity improvement methodologies. Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to generate original ideas to support company initiatives. Superior strength in evaluating feasibility or practicality of ideas and options, assess risks and trade-offs and, make informed and timely decisions. Solid interpersonal skills and expert strength in facilitating and presenting in large group settings.
