Proficient knowledge of WebLogic and WebSphere Application Server security architecture, LDAP based user registries, different authentication and authorization mechanisms and SSO. *Preferred Skills:* Proficient knowledge of integrating with Entrust GetAccess and Password Vault. Experience with Sterling Commerce order management suite of products and ATG commerce solutions. Experience with supporting Oracle Retail Applications running in WebLogic Server. Proficient knowledge of WebSphere and WebLogic in horizontal/vertical clustering and highly available and load balanced environments. Proficient knowledge of integrating different JMS providers including MQ/TIBCO with WebSphere and WebLogic. Practical knowledge of UNIX Scripting and JACL/Jython scripting for WebSphere. Practical knowledge of scripting for WebLogic and experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager. Experience managing and supporting JBOSS is a plus. *Soft Skills:* Analytical and problem solving skills; written and verbal communications, ability to creatively adapt technology to meet the business needs. *Responsibilities:* Software installation, planning including WebSphere Application Server and IHS Installation, WebLogic fix packs and upgrades. Work with lead enterprise architects, senior technical architects and project-specific architects to understand key J2EE enterprise standards and application requirements. Ensure that projects are supported with the required Dev, Test, thru Pre-Production environments, as agreed, with the correct Service Levels. Develop approaches to Application Server environment Monitoring and Management. Define standards, guidelines and rules. Communicate and report task-level status to the System Engineering team.
