Job Description: Sharepoint 2010 Administrator - End to End Installation, Configuration & Implementation of Sharepoint 2010 server and Sharepoint farms . Administering Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 platforms and supporting technologies . SharePoint server farm design concepts . Windows networking principles . Strong experience with SharePoint troubleshooting skills. . Ability to implement administers and maintains multiple SharePoint farms. . Ability to install and configure SharePoint 2010 server as per the design document. . Act as a point-of-contact to troubleshoot application and server issues . Recommend and apply configuration settings to meet business needs and security requirements . Administer general system monitoring and verification . Configure and monitor FAST search for SharePoint 2010 Act as an expert resource for Application Development team Perform typical system administrative activities such as site creation, backup, restore and issue Resolution . Perform as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME). Provide technical guidance to the team in the technologies related to the development and support of an Enterprise SharePoint environment (understanding relationship with active directory, SQL, IIS, etc.). . Perform planned maintenance (patches, roll-ups) of SharePoint farm. . Experience using Powershell .
