*Job Responsibilities:* Responsibilities include a wide range of activities surrounding Tier 2/3 support of DOS Defense Detection and Mitigation Services. Duties include full DOS Defense support and maintenance of the product to include; installation of new customers, ensuring customer configurations are up to date, assisting the customer in DOS attack situations in real time and modifying mitigation configurations when necessary. Duties also include performing regular system maintenance; code upgrades, reviews, configuration changes, and monitoring. Backup cycles and security reviews are also performed on an ongoing basis. Will directly interact with customers on high visibility and complex technical issues to meet and support SLAs. The successful candidate will join an elite team, requiring the participation in technical support in an on-call rotation. Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, and *6 to 8 years progressive technical experience in a Network Engineering role is required.* The successful candidate will also possess: a thorough understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite, demonstrated proficiency with UNIX, demonstrated expertise with *Cisco and Juniper operating systems, a thorough understanding of BGP and internetworking, attention to detail and English language core competency. * Must have the ability to provide oral and written communication to customers, peers, and management. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively and demonstrate critical thinking/problem solving skills.
