Location: Lansing, MI Duration: 6-12 months Process: 2 phone interviews Start Date: As soon as a resource can start (They are setting up interviews for Monday/Tues of next week. Please forward candidates asap.) Rate:$50/hr C-C all inclusive Client is a multi-national insurance and financial organization looking for people who have experience implementing Business Rules. They will train on Drools if the consultant does not posess this type of Business Rules. They are building numerous new applications and enhancing others. We are assisting in building the team and in need of consultants to perform JAVA design and development. The consultants will: . work in a very dynamic, cross functional environment. . participate in design meetings and will be expected to provide creative input and present design ideas and concepts to the team. . develop Core Java code from their designs as well as from the designs of others. . perform web programming. . work with web services and XML are table stakes. . Work with DROOLS business rule engine and writing SQL scripts to a DB/2 database. . participate in testing and re-design and development should it be required. . Be expected to learn and put into use any and all technologies and tools that they may be lacking but are needed to execute upon the project properly. REQUIRED SKILLS: . Senior Java design experience . Senior Java development experience . XML . Strong SQL scripting . Deep database knowledge and experience . Demonstrated experience leading design sessions with other designers and developers. . Demonstrated experience at taking an application from design to QA . Demonstrated experience as a self-starter and a leader . Ability to learn and implement quickly . Excellent English verbal and documentation skills . Demonstrated experience working in a very fast paced environment. DESIRED SKILLS: . DROOLS or other business rules engines .
