Role: Datastage Consultant Start Date: ASAP Work Location: Morristown, NJ (possibility to work remote) Duration: 3 months + possible extension Rate: All inclusive. But it is mostly remote Job Description: * Experience in installation of Datastage 8.5 and upgrade from previous version (on Unix/Solaris platform) * Need to attend weekly status meetings and provide daily/weekly status to project team Required Skills: * Familiar with execution of datastage code * Experience with Datastage SAP adapter * Candidates must have experience of upgrading to IBM Infosphere Datastage version 8.5 (formerly Ascential Datastage) from earlier versions. * Must be familiar with installation and configuration process (experience limited to using 8.5 is not sufficient). Candidate will be required to advise and provide hands-on assistance in installing and configuring the product on newly-acquired hardware running Solaris 10. * Need to stress that experience in installing/configuring the specific Datastage release (v8.5) is critical - that's where we need the help * 9 environments that need to be upgraded between now and February of next year * Once again we restate that they need someone that can set up the environments and not necessarily a developer. 8.5 version is key. upgrade experience nice to have.
