HI Position: Senior Web Software Developer- Engineering
Location: Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 3 Months contract to hire/Long term contract The qualified candidate is an energetic self-starter with strong technical skills in multi-tier Web application development. The Engineering Services team provides an exciting environment where you can innovate and have fun. Responsible for the development of Blue Coat Customer Intelligence Portal and release management framework for the company worldwide. . Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle for these portals from requirements to design to building to testing and deployment for distributed web applications. . Design and deliver front and back end for highly scalable, MVC based web applications. . Innovate and design efficient solutions to build and maintain complex engineering tools. Required skills . BS in Computer Science, engineering or related field. . Minimum 5 years of software development experience with at least 3 years' experience in developing multi-tier Web applications using PHP, JavaScript and strong database skills (MySQL/Oracle) on Linux . Ninja-grade programming skills in PHP with Strong OO Development and Web Services Experience. . Demonstrated proficiency in database design, optimization and complex SQL query writing with MySQL/Oracle Preferred skills . Language agnostic with ability to get your hands dirty in one of more of the following languages: Java, Python, C/C++ . Knowledge/Experience in Adobe Flash programming with exposure to BlazeDS. . Knowledge of Ext JS framework . Knowledge or working experience in computer networking and security . Knowledge of Statistics and Data Mining Concepts.
