Apple Valley Minnesota (Southern Suburb of Minneapolis) Duration: 5 month plus Rate: best all inclusive Our client has a need for an Oracle functional consultant with specific R12 and Advanced Pricing experience for a 5 month plus engagement on-site with the client that is located in Apple Valley Minnesota. They are looking for a mid-January (1/14) start, but would consider starting them the first 2 weeks of the month if necessary in order not to lose a strong candidate The responsibilities will be configuring and/or reconfiguring on the clients existing pricing SKU's. This is not an implementation. It is the enhancement and build-out of a specific pricing module(s) in place. The clients' preference is someone with minimum 4-5 years Advanced Pricing suite experience. In the past they have put premiums on selecting consultants with the most number of projects as close as possible to the project work they are doing. I lost a deal a few years back in competition there because my candidate had done 4 implementations vs. another consultant who had done 5. So the more projects someone has under their belt the better. Interviews are highly technical in nature. A local candidate should expect to do an on-site interview, while phone interviews are fine for non-local candidates. The client has no preference for green card, citizen, or H1B as long as communication skills are very solid and they are well experienced in the field.
