Position: SQL Server Developer(Face to Face interview after telephonic)* *Location : Chicago, IL* *Duration: 5+ months* *Job Description:* This is a 5 month contract need, but the candidate needs to be able to interview in-person and have a strong personality. The consultant will be part of a new project, and will be working on taking a current database and Tuning it into an Operational Data Store. *NEEDED SKILLSET* · Very strong Microsoft SQL Server database developer (no specific BI Stack required) · Medium strength skills in Oracle · Has seen or has some comfort with Informatica. They would not need to be the developer in Informatica, but might need to review items that are running. So they’d need to be able to articulate changes to Informatica. · Data Warehouse skills, but those skills are not needed at the beginning of the project since really they’re working on taking a current database and making it an Operational Data Store. · They also need to be a strong personality type person, so that if something is languishing…even the project itself, that they stand up and start taking charge. · The consultant will take existing database and convert it to an Operational Data Store (ODS) for their Consumer data. They will bring over some interface to this ODS instead of a data warehouse or source system.
