PeopleSoft HCM Technical Developer
Design, Develop, and test PeopleSoft HCM customizations, reports,
interfaces, and/or conversion scripts for a PeopleSoft 9.1 Upgrade.
RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· Software architecture
· Analyzing Compare Reports and facilitating fit/gap analysis
· Preparing detailed technical design specifications from which
programs will be written
· Leading design sessions, design reviews, prototypes,
demonstrations, etc with technical
team and client community to establish requirements and technical
design.
· Developing/Coding program logic based on overall system design
· Performing and documenting results of unit, system, integration
and user acceptance testing.
· Investigating, analyzing, and resolving problems found during
testing.
· Providing strategic direction for current and future releases of
functionality.
· Supporting Functional personnel in the requirements analysis
process, including translation
of functional requirements and design to technical requirements
and design.
· Validating technical capabilities and requirements prior to final
deployment
· Assists users and other IS personnel for immediate resolution of
system problems (e.g. data
analysis, data fix, etc.)
· May assist with IS trainings and in the development of training
materials.
*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:*
Must be very conversant and technically experienced with PeopleSoft HCM
v9.1. Must be able to interface with both functional and technical
PeopleSoft staff as well as client personnel. Must be proficient in all
PeopleSoft technical tools including, but not limited to: Application
Designer, Change Assistant, SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Component
Interface, App Engine, Application Packages, Integration Broker, Data
Mover, Tree Manager, Process Scheduler, Application Workflow Engine (AWE)
and Security Administrator.
Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of
related experience.
