*Sr. Software Engineer * *San Diego, CA* *Duration: Fulltime * Job description: ** *ONLY US CITIZENS/ GC HOLDERS* * * *Minimum Requirements:* * * *~2 - 5 years of relevant avionics domain development & verification experience with below attributes: * - Good aptitude - Should possess a good attitude / team work spirit. - *Prior familiarity with DO178B certification and real time embedded software experience is a must. * - *Experience with MBD (like Rhapsody, MATLAB/Simulink) will be an added plus * - Basic familiarity with documentation suites like MS Office etc., - Must possess familiar knowledge / fundamentals in software development encompassing data structures, processor and micro controller architectures. - Must exhibit willingness to thrive in team environment - Must be a US National or a Green Card holder, since the work scope involves export controlled work. - Prior familiarity with Auxiliary Power Unit Controller (APUC) or FADEC is an added plus.** * * *Job Description:* 1. To design, develop, debug safety critical software and ensure quality and timelines of output as per work allocation. 2. Must be able to independently contribute towards the embedded software life cycle activities – spanning from requirement generation, reviews, design generation, design reviews, code generation, code reviews, test development (HSIT, FVT) and associated test reviews. 3. Must be able to collaboratively work in a geographically dispersed team environment. 4. Basic familiarity with using test and measurement instruments within the lab setting is required. 5. Prior experience in performing system integration tests and automated / regression tests will be helpful. 6. DO178B Certification & audit facing experience will be helpful. Familiarity with Visual Basic scripting language is expected.
