Position: SAP BW/BI Developer **Location : Denver, CO **Duration: 2+ months **Start date: Oct 21st* Need a resource strong in BW/BI, contract is through Dec 31st 2013.. Need a resource that can ideally work in Denver 5 days a week, but if necessary the client will look at 4x10’s.Rate needs to be in the $85-100hr all inclusive. *Top Three Skills: *1) Solid SAP BW Development Skills (includes ABAP experience). Good experience working in SAP BW and doing custom development. 2) Understanding and experience working with SAP data sources and non-SAP data sources. 3) Self starter and great communication skills. *Job Description: *This person needs to have solid experience with SAP BW backend development including understanding where the data is and the ability to get it out of ECC, writing adapters and BEx queries, understanding data modeling. *Projects to be undertaken include: *1) Model data from SAP ECC for installed items and build consignee list reports 2) Model data for EDI 867 data for reporting distributor sales to their end customers. 3) Must have the following skills: *8+ years of solid SAP BW Development (includes ABAP experience)*. Most of the work is within the Order-to-Cash process so BW development experience with SD and MM are required. The person needs to understand and have experience working with SAP data sources and non-SAP data sources. They will have requirements for moving data into BW from SAP and non-SAP systems. This role will have heavy interaction with the business owners with regards to requirements gathering. It’s a small but senior BW team of 2 people and each BW developer is required to gather their own requirements through business meetings with the various department heads, stakeholders, etc. So the candidate must be comfortable and confident in meeting settings and helping to educate the business owners on the capabilities of SAP ECC and BW. Great communication skills are essential. *It's preferable if the candidate has the following experience: *- Experience with the Order-to-Cash process, including modules such as SD, MM, and PP - Ability to do functional analysis/design, not just the technical implementation - Experience with Business Objects reporting with BW (this would be Webi experience, not just Crystal) - Experience dealing with multi-language reporting needs - In terms of the work, they have quite a bit of BW enhancements to perform. These have to do with their customers and their equipment. They will also be doing phase II report development and enhancement for all the regions that have previously gone live (APAC, EMEA, and North America).
