Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 + Months Interview: Phone/ Skype Work Status: H1B, US Citizen, GC *Knowledge and Skills Required:* *Required Qualifications* - 3+ years’ experience in software testing - *Good experience of manual testing throughout the testing life cycle (test plan creation, test case development/review, test execution, defect logging/reporting including metrics, Requirements Traceability Matrix, defect tracking and resolution). * - *Experience of using tools such as QC, ALM for test planning and defect management * - Hands on with Test Design, Test Scheduling, Test Execution and defect tracking/resolution and metrics - *Strong knowledge on PL/SQL, Unix* - Hands on with Test Design, Test Scheduling, Test Execution and defect tracking/resolution and metrics *EDUCATION:* - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. *Job Duties* - Review requirements and prepare test plan - Design, build & review test scripts, test data for testing - Execute testcases and perform functional, regression, compatibility, UI testing. - Use HP ALM for creating, executing testcases - Defect management using ALM - Ensure thorough testing is conducted on the software. - Execution of test plan by tracking, reporting and monitoring the testing activities.
