[email protected] *Embedded Software Engineer* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: 6+ months ( Extendable)* *Job Description:* n Responsible for design, development and testing of software on a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). n Validates System Requirements, interfaces and develop and/or test software for those interfaces. n Other responsibilities include: (A) Requirement Development, Design Development, Coding (B) Peer Reviews and Analysis (C) Requirements Based Testing (D) Integration and Performance Testing (E) Technical Problem resolution & Troubleshooting n Carries out trade studies of design concepts or test methodologies. n Quickly interprets business requirements and translate them into software solutions and POC. n Mentors junior engineers on the team. n Reviews team's deliverables to ensure quality. n Ensures compliance to standards. n Participates in improving process and product quality and assure corrective action where necessary. n Supports in customer and certification reviews (e.g., PDR,CDR,FAI, SOI audits) and successful completion and resolution of action items n Applies Six Sigma /ACE /Continuous Improvement experience to support improved project performance. n Provides effective technical documentation. *Skill Set:* n Experience in implementing architectures and applications utilizing a RTOS, including strong understanding of RTOS concepts including: Tasking and Threading models and priorities; Rate Monotonic Analysis; Time and Space partitioning; data synchronization, etc. (DEOS experience is preferred). n Good understanding on Software Development Life Cycle n Good knowledge on DO-178B/C process and guidelines. n Develop software using C, C++, in RTOS environment. n Good experience in Perl, Python scripting languages. n Experience in any assembly language is a plus. n Understand Embedded Protocols and Hardware. n Good experience in USB, SPI, I2C, RS-422/485, ARINC-429, 802.11x Wi-Fi, Cellular 3G/4G, TCP/IP, FTP and Bluetooth 2.1/4.0 protocols for transmittal of avionics data over various communication links. n Hands on experience in debugging using any JTAG interfaces. n Good experience in x86, PPC, ARM processors. n Identify and support in automating the processes and project artifacts generation. n Effectively work on Software Configuration Management tools like PVCS, SVN and Requirements Management tools like DOORS. n Ability to be productive in flexible and dynamic work environments n Strong analytical and problem solving skills n Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills *Regards* *BIJAY* Technical Recruiter *Techwire Solutions, Inc* 101 Hudson St, Suite # 2100, Jersey City, NJ 07302 USA Phone: 201-884-6602 Email: [email protected] <[email protected]> || Web: www.techwiresol.com *Office Locations: New Jersey || California || Washington || New Delhi || Noida || Pune || Hyderabad * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
