Provide effective administration of SolarWinds systems monitoring tool in a globally diverse environment. Administer and maintain the security for all Windows hosts including virus scan, host intrusion prevention and endpoint encryption products. Support and maintain 1200 Windows 2003/08 servers, approximately half which are virtual. Provision the new 5.1 VMware systems. Load and configure McAfee MOVE anti-virus on the ESX environment in order to optimize individual VM system resources. Compile routine reports regarding threat activity as well as endpoint security compliance. Administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, DNS and DHCP including but not limited to OU object moves, security group creation/memberships, NTFS and share permissions, group policy creation, DNS host record creation, DHCP reservations and ip address management. Troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2010 environment as well as implement/configure mail security on associated Exchange servers. Monitor and manage all servers and networks at Haemonetics Headquarters and remote office sites. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with various Enterprise IT teams both domestically and internationally. Conduct knowledge transfer to the Account Fulfillment team, which is responsible for provisioning network file share access and Active Directory/Exchange account maintenance. *Additional Information:* Requirements are: Working knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot the following: MS Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 MS Active Directory VMware 3.5 & 4.x HP switches Smaller EMC SAN's (including Dell-branded ANX) Ability to work with little or no supervision, yet knowing when to ask for help/guidance Ability to communicate clearly in English with both non-technical & technical staff The following are additional skills that would also help us: CA ArcServe backup software & Quantum & Dell tape drives Cisco wireless infrastructure (LWAP & controller) MS Windows XP & 7 MS SQL MS Exchange 2003 *Work Environment:* Haemoentetics is a highly regulated medical device company that is a fast paced enterprise environment that is continually defining process. They need someone who is proactive and will look for work, eager and motivated. Who is the Internal/External Customer: The customers that are being affected are all internal Haemonetics employees. The internal customers may be finance, engineers, quality assurance, clinical operations, as well as executive level people. The external customers are patients that use Haemonetics blood management devices. Impact to the Internal/External Customer: Haemonetics employees need support of their computer systems in a regulated environment and they also need access support to the Cornerstone LMS as directed by the FDA. If employees do not have up time in their computer systems and required training is not completed, the FDA can levy hefty fines and violations, which will affect the marketing and sale of their Blood management products, which the EXTERNAL customer uses for transfusions. *Business Challenge:* The server group is thin, having to support the network and systems operations, as well as user system access. The group is falling short of user expectaitons because Haemonetics is hiring people and taking days to set to set them up within the Windows, Exchange, Oracle, and LMS systems. This is affecting the face of IT and helpdesk to the extent that users find the group to be incapable of supporting the environment.
