You can add me on G'talk : chetan.ramy You can add me on YM : chetan_ramy Position: QA Tester Location:* *Scottsdale, AZ* *Duration: 6+Months Interview Mode: Phone then Face to Face* * Qualifications and Experience* · *Test Definition:* o Plan, write, and execute test plans o Write, maintain, and verify test cases (JUnit or equivalent preferred) o Develop test matrixes, identify test data and use case requirements o Proven experience writing test plans and test cases o Experience analyzing the needs of internal/external clients · *Test Execution:* o Black Box/Grey Box/White Box Testing: Including testing against large-scale database systems. o Experience writing SQL queries to identify and verify data used by code. o Experience reading logs to identify and verify code functionality and/or error processing o Must be comfortable with relational database technology, concepts and tools o Must be able to work in an environment with short development and release cycles o Experience with Web Service test execution and/or tools such as soapUI · *Bug Tracking:* o Experience using a bug tracking tool (e.g., Jira), and associated processes o Responsible for identifying, logging, tracking and escalating bugs o Verifying bug fixes, through regression testing o Updating & maintaining related QA documentation o Ability to write concise bug reports. · *Automation:* o Experience with programming/scripting language(s) (e.g., Perl, UNIX shell) o Experience with setting up and maintaining an automated testing environment o Experience using automation test tools (Selenium, Watir, QTP) · *Server Knowledge:* o Experience with basic server administration, including server starts/stops o Experience with basic modifications to web server config files o Experience with Apache on Linux · *Preferred:* o Agile process experience o Experience testing applications developed using Open Source Technologies in a large scale transaction environment (Linux, Apache, Perl, MySQL - LAMP) o Experience using test case management tools (e.g., Testlink, Test Director) o Prior experience with open-source test automation tools (e.g. Selenium) o Experience with Linux/Unix Environments o Experience with MySQL and Oracle. o Experience with Configuration Management (i.e., SVN) o Experience with Release Management process/methodology.
