This is accomplished by embedding within the business, and becoming expert on the business process, thereby attaining the ability to provide expertise to the technical team. The Analyst leads formal requirements gathering sessions; manages scope and deliverables, obtains approval of requirements and oversees delivery of final product in form of Business Intelligence. Expertise in Healthcare will provide insight to use requirements. *Skills & Experience* - · Technical skills in Business Intelligence to know what is available and how to apply - · Analytical skills to understand requests and translate these to cohesive requirements - · Communication and client skills to elicit the needs, and gain trust - · Problem solving skills to recommend solutions - · Skilled in delivering BI solutions with visual displays of quantitative information - · Skills for listening to others' needs and concerns and translating them into terms that people in a different area can understand. - · Five or more years experience in public health, health administration, business administration or information technology required. - · Advanced analytical skills to resolve difficult problems - · Minimum five years as a business analyst documenting IT applications. - · Understanding of Business Intelligence is essential - · Prior Healthcare Informatics Experience working in the development, analysis and implementation of information systems in a health-care environment or analyzing public health data is preferred.
