Application Developer / Systems Integrator
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in Computer Science or relevant field. In lieu of degree, 4
years relevant work experience.
Experience implementing, configuring, customizing and integrating
3rd-party software solutions.
Experience developing business applications end-to-end, including
front-end, data storage and application integration.
Programming skills
Java language, 5+ years of experience
SQL and JDBC development, 3+ years of experience
Web development in Java, 3+ years of experience
Experience with source control, software lifecycle tools
(e.g. JIRA) and build technology (e.g. Ant), 3+ years
Experience developing in Linux/UNIX, 3+ years
Experience maintaining software projects
Familiarity with both SOAP/REST web services
Scripting skills experience with perl, shell, python, or
XML.
Experienced candidates should have prior internal systems
experience in one or more of the following business domains:
supply chain, datacenter operations, legal, finance, or HR.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS in Computer Science or relevant field.
Participation in several full system implementation life-cycles
(analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).
Solid understanding of information management, data modeling,
system integration, development methodologies (including unit
testing) and web technologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong
analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing
environment.

High: Experience with relational database, especially
MySQL & Oracle
High: Experience with network programming, SOAP and REST
in Java
Medium: Experience designing and developing ETL processes
Medium: Database performance tuning experience
Medium: Tomcat administration experience
Low: Familiarity with AJAX frameworks (e.g. YUI, GWT,
echo)
Low: Hibernate experience
Low: Perforce experience
Low: Apache AXIS familiarity
Low: Experience integrating large 3rd party frameworks
