·         Need someone ideally from the cable-modem / multimedia delivery
sector with good understanding of set-top box (STB) internals, DigitalTV /
IPTV and associated software applications.

·         Good C and C++ / Java skills and developing multi-threaded
applications on Linux / UNIX platforms

·         JavaScript skills are required

·         JSON, Restful APIs

·         Experience creating UI

·         XML

·         Should have been part of multiple product development lifecycles

·         Other skills: SCM tools (any) - VSS, ClearCase, CVS

·         Familiarity with Eclipse IDE or a similar development environment

Highly desirable: HTML5

Desirable (any):

·         Writing applications for EPG / IPG - used in cable-modem sector

·         Prior exposure in coding/debugging assembly language - x86 or
similar

·         Any prior experience in graphics engines on microcontrollers /
microprocessors
