*Title: VMWare View Engineers* *Location: New York, NY* *Duration: 6 month contract to hire (So no H-1 candidates)* ******MUST BE LOCAL OR A FACE TO FACE****** *****VMWare WITH STRONG VDI SKILLS******** *Description:* *Must have strong VDI experience* Experience building and creating server and workstation images in a VMware environment - Experience with deploying, configuring and maintaining IBM Pure Flex hardware - Experience with deploying and maintaining WYSE terminals - Experience with VMware View 5 (Design, deploy, install and maintain) with Windows 7 images. - Experience with vCenter Operations Manager - Assist with deploying a large Virtual Desktop Environment - Provision large number of Virtual Desktops using in-house automation tools and deployment technologies - Work independently to identify and appropriately troubleshoot VM issues; collaborate with appropriate Desktop teams to resolve - Be able to troubleshoot issues relating to WYSE terminals; work with network and other desktop teams to resolve - Be able to understand and implement performance monitoring tools for Windows 7 VMs - Participate in problem management and root cause analysis and maintain 24x7 availability and monitoring of VDI-related systems - Must be an expert with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems - Must have good oral and written communication skills - Must be available for on-call support - Must be able to work some weekends and nights - McAfee Anti virus -- including MOVE -- knowledge ThinApp Applications - Capture and Store Application Packages - Assign ThinApp Applications to pools and/or global groups - Maintain and update ThinApp Applications Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot network connectivity problems - Troubleshoot basic Windows problems on both physical PCs and VDI desktops - Troubleshoot performance problems - Troubleshoot provisioning errors - Troubleshoot domain problems as they relate to desktops - Troubleshoot persona problems Regards, Sara Wilson - Staffing Manager Direct : 646-340-0603 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
