ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Create new company websites, and update existing websites with new content as requested. - Proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. - Ability to manage specific projects by leading, communicating and scheduling project team. - Support production software operations; test and debug web applications. - Engineer and maintain re-usable web based applications used by employees and customers. - Continually re-evaluate existing sites and applications to improve quality and implement emerging industry technologies. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Other duties may be assigned. KNOWLEDGE and/or EXPERIENCE Required Qualifications - Solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and a good understanding of current web technologies. - 5+ years experience with web development. - 5+ years programming experience, with at least 2+ years in PHP5+. - Proficient in developing with SQL based databases. - Proficient with Javascript and AJAX. - Proficient in hand coding W3C compliant HTML4/XHTML. - Proficient in UI design, graphic creation and optimization in various formats using Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of print media is a plus. - Familiarity with cross browser optimization in Chrome, Firefox, IE, & Safari. - Familiarity with MVC design patterns. - Familiarity with the SDLC. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledge of general usability principles and best practices.
