*Please share resume at **[email protected] <[email protected]>.* Role :SharePoint Migration Expert Location: Redmond, WA; Position Overview: Our direct client, Microsoft, is looking for a SharePoint Migration Specialist to assist with SharePoint 2010 database migration to SharePoint 2013. In this role you’ll be responsible for planning, directing, coordination of activities of SharePoint migration and implementation. Ideal SharePoint Specialists should have a thorough understanding of SharePoint 2010 and 2013, and possess the ability to configure front end, and operate SharePoint 2010 and 2013. Responsibilities: · Working with users to plan/execute their SharePoint site; · Ensuring a successful migration from SharePoint 2007 to 2013; · Analysis, planning, preparation, development/testing, implementation, and validation phases of migration efforts; · Migrating databases and perform site upgrades, as well as rehosting, refactoring, or rebuilding custom applications and sites and testing to ensure they meet requirements. · Ensuring proper documentation and outstanding stakeholder and customer interaction throughout the project lifecycle; · During validation, ensure that implementation was successful.
