12months Key areas are: *R 12.2, Exadata*, ASM, RAC & RMAN Looking for an onsite R12 DBA candidate who will be helping with a major R12 implementation 1. Highly experienced with all aspects of Oracle DB 11gR2; a. ASM; b. RAC; c. RMAN; 2. Highly experienced with all aspects of Applications (11i and R12). As 12.2 is fairly new, he should have knowledge of the new features; 3. Experience with DB on Exadata; 4. Experience with FMW/WebLogic (configuration, installs, tuning, etc.); 5. (FMW/WebLogic on) Exalogic experience; 6. Standard requirements for DB and Apps, like be able to configure (SSO, Load Balance, etc), install, patch, tuning, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, cloning, etc.; 7. Be able to come up with alternate solutions, documentation, DR strategy, etc.; 8. Should have worked in a multi-tiered/HA environment. *Project Description (Mandatory) - · Design R12 system implementation architecture following the best practices including database and application tier - · Install and configure R12 ( 12.2) including all required development, QA and test instances - · Define, document and test backup and recovery strategy - · Define Instance strategy - · Define and implement performance load testing strategy - · Define and document Archiving strategy - · Define and document patching strategy - · Define and document cloning strategy as required - · Define and document cloning procedure. - · Set up alert and monitoring. - · Define, set up, test and document high Availability architecture for Application and Database. This would include but is not limited to RAC, PCP, Web Tier Load balancing, FAN, TAF (Transparent Application Failover), etc. to ensure high availability for both Application and Database. - · Database, technology and application layer tuning for optimized performance. - · Define, document, test and Implement disaster recovery process for R12 stack and associated systems (identity management, SOA etc.). - · Define, document and implement periodic maintenance jobs such as stats gathering, object reorganization, log file cleanup etc. - · Define, document and implement security policies to comply with Activision’s global security requirements. This may include but is not limited to application/database security hardening, password change strategy, encryption, fine grained access control, defining controls around PII data, etc. - · Work with the development team to develop standards for customizations. - · Define, document and implement custom object migration strategy/processes for R12.2. - · Assist development team on performance tuning the custom code.
