Minimum of 10 or more years of successful project deliveries with a focus
on infrastructure design.

Experience with large scale program and project engineering and design.
Extensive experience with designing and engineering one or more of the
following infrastructure platforms or disciplines a must:



Cisco UCS, UF, ANS, Catalyst and Nexus switching for Enterprise-class Data
Centers

Software-defined Networking

IBM Blade Center H/S

IBM XIV, Storewize, and FlashSystem

Enterprise-class MSSQL and DB2 designs

IBM Metro or Global Mirror

VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Hyper V, or VMWare View

VCE VBlock

AIX, Windows, Enterprise Redhat, or Ubuntu in a highly-available resilient
environment

Designing highly-available, low-latency and low-jitter global data and
storage networks for e-Commerce and Manufacturing



Has a proven record of accomplishment in planning, managing, and designing
information systems, preferably in a consumer products, manufacturing or
distribution company.  Strong experience in, and orientation toward,
solution design, project management and structured system development
 methodologies.



Education Level:

Bachelors Preferred, not required.

Advanced degree a plus.

Project Management Institute (PMI) certification desired.





Infrastructure Focus Area



This position’s focus area is the design and engineering of server,
storage, network, and DB services, spanning the integration of multiple
functional business areas.



In addition, the incumbent will need to create, update and maintain design
documents for various parts of the Solution Design Package, including
service functional requirements, service level requirements, service
operational requirements, as well as provides guidance to processes in the
service availability, service capacity, and service continuity areas.

across all projects under the incumbent’s span of control.

* Works closely with suppliers to ensure clear understanding of
requirements used in creating function design specifications.

* Ensures proper controls are built into system solutions.

to ensure capable and competent resources.

* Provides leadership through coaching and mentoring of individuals that

service solutions.

* Provide Tier-3 support for Operations and others as required, and
knowledge-share on an on-going basis to enhance the skill-sets of others to
