This is with the 3-D mapping group. HERE ( Nokia ) Has plane fly around the world that take pictures of cities and towns. These consultants are taking these pictures and creating 3-D images for digital maps (GPS systems, phone GPS, computer maps, ext. ). These consultants are all backend focused and need to have experience with WebServices and Databases (not a web application job). Must have knowledge working with - writing Algorithms. Cloud experience is a plus. Core Java experience (fundamentals) are critical in this role. Must be able to speak to their experience, and be strong in coding (looking for someone who likes to code in their free time). Need to have experience with Spring and Hibernate. There is a coding test for all candidates. The right candidate must be able to wear multiple hats. GIS and complex event processing a plus. Not looking for Junior or Senior candidates. Candidates from the financial industry/banks do not do well in this role. *Interview Process* Phone Screen then 3/4 hour in person interview with the team.
