Location : Waltham, MA Duration : 6-12 Months* *Phone Hire* *Description* I just received another request for a QC Analyst with Java programming skills, we have placed four people in this group in the last 6 weeks. They will hire over the phone for this position, please forward any QC/QA candidates you have that can also program in Java (They have to be able to write code and not just write test scripts). *About the Job* Looking for a Sr. QC Analyst who can independently tests new software applications and modifications to ensure that software operates as intended. Obtains and analyzes system requirements to develop an understanding of the business needs and functionalities of the new application. Writes test plans. Runs test scripts to uncover program defects. Confirms defect fixes applied correct the defects identified and don't introduce new issues. As required, provide guidance to more junior members of team. Applies experience, intelligence, and creativity to resolve a wide range of moderately complex issues; seeks guidance from other relevant experts on most complex issues (e.g., technical or business complexity). Perform code reviews of other’s work and provide meaningful feedback. · Document work performed and track progress of project *Qualifications* Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a relevant Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience. · SQL · JAVA programming · Object Oriented Programming · Project Management *Basic Knowledge:* · Experience in *JUnit, SAML, AMF* · Experience with *Eclipse, ant, maven, SQL, XSLT, Ruby on Rails, Jira, Subversion*.
