*Summary: *



Development Project Manager having 7-9 years of experience of managing
Java, SQL Server, Perl, Shell scripting, PL/SQL projects with Reference
Data domain.





*Responsibilities:*



•                     Responsible for the management of overall project
budget, schedule, and scope of projects of low to medium size and
complexity and generally small to medium sized stakeholder groups

•                     Leadership role for identifying and influencing
stakeholders on all issues related to the project

•                     Drives team towards the development and completion of
all critical project documents according to defined processes, leveraging
customer standard methodologies

•                     Manage all projects through the SLDC and release
management process

•                     Facilitate/manage all projects through engagement,
prioritization and governance models

•                     Develop/manage relationships with clients/Operations
in order to meet needs; manage all communications

•                     Management of monthly platform releases from lockdown
through post-delivery

•                     Design, develop, manage all MIS reporting associated
with IP portfolio to provide cost transparency and data required for
improving lifecycle/delivery activities

•                     Reporting targeted to provide data down to the unit
level for cost, QA, Development, Release (through SDLC) for each piece of
work delivered in each release

•                     Strong written and verbal communication skills



*Role:*



•                     Work with business and analyst to discuss and
finalize requirement

•                     Get all teams together to finalize on budget and
schedule

•                     Provide regular status update to all stakeholders

•                     Guide the team on project  throughout the lifecycle
right from analysis to development to testing to prod support

·         Work with business and analyst to discuss and finalize
requirement

·         A well-practiced team leader – able to deliver high quality
output on time and budget whilst showing empathy toward the demands placed
on development team members

·         Very strong and confident communicator in both verbal and written
communications

·         Skilled at identifying conflict within teams and resolving
quickly and agreeably

·         Awareness of different cultural background of users

·         Ability to understand the business context of requirements and
apply to the task in hand

·         Ability to work under pressure to deliver to committed timescales

·         Encourage active involvement of the team in suggesting
improvements to productivity and quality

·         Leadership in developing staff to broaden the scope and
effectiveness of their roles

·         Strong basic technical skills with demonstrated ability to learn
further

·         Exemplary team player

·         A good understanding of the investment banking business will be
an advantage

·         Good knowledge of a relational database preferably Oracle with
PL/SQL

·         Good understanding of any messaging tool or framework (e.g. IBM
MQ, Solace)

·         Good understanding of best code development and deployment
practices.

·         Possess good organizational skills

·         Previous experience of Reference Data - Product & Price IT

·         Testing tools knowledge: Quality Centre

·         Perforce/ClearCase knowledge

·         XML/XSLT

·         TeamCity – Good to have
