*Description*
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and passionate Developer to join
us as we continue to grow and achieve our aim of becoming the global market
leader in the provision of business and technology services to the
wholesale and investment banking sector.
*Responsibilities:*
· Work on front, middle or back office platforms for leading
investment banks
· Involvement in projects such as building new trade capture
systems or real time, multithreaded risk portals
· Collaborate with bright enthusiastic consultants solving real
world problems
· 6+ years’ experience in object oriented and n-tier development
using JAVA; knowledge of design & architecture principles, *GUI development*
w/C+ and .net, and Oracle database; experience in FS to include credit
derivatives and working in a trading/operations development environment.
*Skills Required:*
•6+ years’ experience in object oriented and n-tier development using JAVA;
knowledge of design & architecture principles, GUI development w/C+ and
.net, and Oracle database
•*Experience in Financial Services to include credit derivatives* and
working in a trading/operations development environment.
•Specific required technical skills include:
◦*Solid server-side JAVA development experience*
◦Knowledge of Maven And TeamCity, Spring framework
◦Good understanding of multi-threading, message-oriented middleware,
and design patterns
◦Good understanding of UNIX systems, Shell or Perl scripting,
Windows scripting
◦Understanding of source control repository and database (SQL
queries)
◦Knowledge of TT, JMS and EMS is a plus
◦Understanding of XML
•Additional experience in project management and solution architecture is
desired
•Exposure to Capital Markets, including quantitative finance, valuation
methodologies, cross asset product knowledge, risk management, regulatory,
settlement, trading, accounting, market and reference data management;
knowledge of FIX highly desired
•Experience with agile development methodologies
•Background in object-oriented design and analysis, software specification
including UML diagramming, and data modeling
•Experience delivering performance, scalable systems
•Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to
work with a global team
