*Position : C++ Developer* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration : 6+ Months Phone Hire !!! * *Responsibilities* · Provide architecture/design and development expertise in the implementation and maintenance of trading and risk applications in a Front/Middle/Back-Office setting (OMS, EMS, Risk, Position, Transaction, and Portfolio Construction). · Develop and maintain complex, multi-threaded server side C++ applications using best practice/design patterns. · Lead design, estimation and planning tasks for the solution using technical and functional expertise. · Support, debug and enhance existing client applications/systems. · Facilitate communication and collaboration among end- users, business analysts, quality assurance, Level 1 and Level 2 support, and peer technology teams. *Required Skills* · Bachelor of Science, Computer Science from a top-tier institution; Master of Science, Computer Science highly desirable. · Expert C++ development experience (including STL) developing multi-threaded, real-time, high-performance, scalable, performant and secure solutions for Capital Markets Trading, Broker/Dealers or Hedge Funds. · Must have in-depth object-oriented analysis and design capabilities, strong experience applying a variety of design patterns. · Solid skills in Perl, Python or other scripting languages. · Strong experience with databases and SQL.
