*Position : QA Tester * *Location : Dallas(Coppell) , TX Duration : 6+ Months Phone then Face to Face Rate : $45/hr on c2c* *Description* · Healthcare/pharmacy experience is a must. ScriptMed application experience is highly preferred. · This position performs system testing and black box testing in accordance with user and business analyst requirements. · This position works with business stakeholders to ensure continuous improvements. *Responsibilities:* - Determine, prepare, and maintain test strategy, test design, test cases, and traceability for application development and data solutions. - Recommend improvements and/or corrections to developers. - Write, revise, review, and verify quality standards and test procedures for deliverables to ensure application aligns to user request, business analyst requirements, and conformity to Quality Assurance initiatives and guidelines. - Document errors and recommend improvements and resolution. - Set up test cases and scenarios with user input to identify and recommend solutions to issues. - Evaluate and monitor query performance after implementation to ensure availability and accuracy. *Skills Required* - SQL writing Skills - Web Services/SOA - Excellent Test Script writing skills - Healthcare Industry Experience - Bachelor’s degree in related area required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in related area may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis. - Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in Information Technology QA testing and/or development required. - Experience with Oracle 11 and PL/SQL required. - Minimum of six (6) years’ experience with development and implementation of IT Quality Assurance initiatives, building of quality standards and test cases, and performance parameters required. - Experience with HP Quality Center 10.x required. - Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. - Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, Product Development Lifecycle, Relational Database technologies, and RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodologies required. *Preferred experience:* - Intermediate proficiency in XML, Web Services and ETL validation preferred.
