Profile : Hyperion Consultant(with Oracle EPM ) Location: Livingston, NJ F2F will be required for final interview Duration: 6 months CIT is in the process of deploying Oracles leading technologies for reporting and advanced analytics, and is looking for a senior developer to support the existing footprint for financial reporting in support of our financial transformation for analytics. This position would be ideal for an individual who has a strong background using the Oracle EPM 11.1.2.2 tools (with heavy emphasis on Essbase and the Excel Add-in/SmartView). Candidates should have a strong understanding of accounting/financial and the overall Oracle EPM application suite, including cube design. Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with OBIEE, DRM, Working knowledge of financial metadata and hierarchies and the PeopleSoft General Ledger application (vers 8.4). Responsibilities include: · Supporting the Essbase OLAP platform (ASO/BSO) including but not limited to: outline design, load rules, MaxL scripts, partitions, calc scripts, security filters, groups, Essbase Excel Add-In and SmartView. · Design and build cube-based analytical solutions · Support enhancement, performance tuning and optimization of Multidimensional cube-design cubes and calculation scripts. · Design and build financial planning and reporting solutions. · Integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements. · Proactively identify efficiency and quality improvements to current processes. · Design and build automated daily loads that feed into the system. · Support production, including back-ups, disaster recovery system performance. · Execute Oracle system/integration test scenarios and work with other members of implementation/integration team to ensure issues and problems are identified, documented, and resolved. · Identify and document system requirements taking into account functional requirements as well as performance, functionality, and supportability, etc. · Adhere to application and technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and requirement traceability · Mentor and transfer technical knowledge for the suite to other teams and department personnel, as requested, in a timely fashion. · This role will require the ability to interact with key business users in design sessions, develop design specifications and unit test plans, and manage functional administration of Hyperion components. The individual will also function on a team providing User support for Oracle EPM applications.
