The right person will have good working knowledge of a Windows Server environment & network topology. They will understand distributed Applications and have the ability to use tools typical to distributed applications to help them debug & troubleshoot issues. ie-Fidler They will need to be good with root cause analysis for browser based applications and be very strong with Windows Administration. They need to be self-motivated and independent. Responsible for the design and administration of all distributed server system across enterprise computing environment. Provides Tier 3 support for service requests from customers for distributed systems and applications. Works closely with other support teams to install and administer server systems and layered middleware and web services software. Evaluates, diagnoses and establishes work plan to resolve system issues. Recommends, designs, installs, configures, and maintains various distributed server systems, including server virtualization/consolidation technologies. Designs, implements and administers enterprise level identity and access management systems, web servers and services. Researches and recommends new or enhanced software and systems. Escalates and coordinates services requests with other support. Works as a team member, and mentors and trains junior staff members.
