*Location: *San Diego, CA *Duration: *8+ months *From a non-technical perspective* the hiring manager is looking for someone with strong software requirements analysis skills and the ability to envision a software solution from those requirements. Having a property tax background is going to be a HUGE plus to the hiring manage and the team. >From a technical perspective the hiring manager needs someone with experience in the Microsoft toolset. Priorities are: 1. MS SQL Server T-SQL – especially stored procedures and table-valued functions 2. Web apps using .NET/C# 3. MS Workflow Foundation 4. Visual Basic for Applications Experience is going to be more emphasized than education. The minimum education level is a bachelors degree. On a day to day, the contractors will be working with Business Analysts from Thomson Reuters that have worked with California Counties. The contractors will conduct sessions to analyze data, analyze functionality of a selected product. They will then configure the product to the customers needs. They will work with an internal technical staff, product team, and engineering team. They will also work with external partners and the customers business process experts.The hiring manager would really like to see experience with property taxes, specifically in California.
