*Position: Network Engineer * *Location: Middletown - NJ*
*Duration: 6+months* *Job Description:* · To perform System Engineering planning, requirement and design activities to support Service abstraction, network abstraction, provisioning and activation, and Service orchestration for Software Defined Network (SDN) Ethernet and Managed Internet Services, including virtualization of the Ciena 3900 series and Juniper devices.. · The Design engineer will be developing and documenting Network Management Technical Plans (NMTPs) specifically for Software Defined Network services · The Design engineer will be expected to present the NMTPs to a wide and diverse audience within customer internal organizations (e.g., IT, Operations, Planners). · NMTPs document the Service abstraction, network abstraction and service orchestration of Network elements and for supporting the end-to-end network. *This work includes:* · The development of NMTPs that provides the Service provisioning and service activation of Ethernet and Managed Internet services requirements. · The design and specification of Software Defined Network requirements. · Working closely with cross-function teams including multiple vendors, operations, IT (systems development) to solidify Network Management design. *Working knowledge on the following disciplines:* · Experience in designing SDN solutions for large scale Wireless Networks · Service abstraction, network abstraction and service orchestration of virtualized network Elements. · Experience in modeling the Ethernet and Managed Internet Services using YANG modeling · Experience in providing NETCONF SOAP, REST and CLI interfaces to other network inventory applications in the GAMMA project, · Experienced in building services abstraction, orchestration using JAVA and XML, · Experienced in building SOAP and REST services · Experience on IP Transport elements such as Cisco · Experience of Cisco’s Vyatta, Ciena 3900 series, Juniper’s JunOS. · Must have knowledge of topology, NCS, Ether Virtual Connection, VLAN, Routing and Forwarding, SNMP, NVP, NFV · Must have knowledge of Business and ordering systems. *Skills and Experience Details:* *Skills:* Network Management Network Management, Solution Architecture, Architecting, EMS-NMS Architecting, Technical Architecture *Desirable Skills:* Software-Defined Networking - SDN, Performance Management, Configuration Management, Element Management Systems *Thanks & Regards,* *Manju G* *Idexcel Inc.* *Work: 703-230-2690 | Fax: 703-880-7584 * *Email: mn...@idexcel.com <mn...@idexcel.com>* *459 Herndon Parkway Suite 11, Herndon VA – 20170* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
