Role:C#.Net Xamarin developer position Duration:6+ months Location:TX Job Description: Candidate Availability - Candidates should be available for immediate project consideration and potential project start during the week of 02/09/2015. Interview Process - Will include an initial 30 minute phone interview with the project team PM, next steps may include 60 min on-site interview with SJM hiring manager and other team members *Qualified Candidates - Must have.... * 1) 5+ years software development in C# and .NET. . 2) Experience Xamarin Forms and Xamarin Studio or Visual Studio Xamarin Plugin and 3) Proficient with C# and Visual Studio*.* *Job Duties:* Develops C# code compliant with specified design patterns. Design and develop native mobile applications for iOS, Windows and Android using Xamarin Works closely with Business Analysts and Quality Assurance to ensure unit test scripts fit into the automated integration test scheme and support application validation. Creates reusable components using the Xamarin Platform. Works well within source code controlled environments using TFS, GIT, SVN or other popular systems. Works with Mobile Application Developers to establish a mobile application framework that integrates with the mobile device management system. Other duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, and/or equivalent experience. 5+ years software development in C# and .NET. Proficient with C# and Visual Studio Experience with Xamarin Studio or Visual Studio Xamarin Plugin. Experience with Xamarin Forms a plus Experience with MVC or MVVM design patterns Experience with Apple's iOS and Android UI Frameworks Proficiency with SQL and exposure to SQL Server Displays Clear and concise coding practices and a strong interest in mobile development. Experience with Services Oriented Architectures, RESTful interfaces and Enterprise Application Patterns. Web development skills are a plus; HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript Good understanding of software development best practices Understanding of the Principles & Patterns of Agile Software Understanding of software quality and testing procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence within and across organizations, functions and business areas. Must be passionate about mobile technology and its ability to enable a workforce.
