Role: Quality Assurance Tester

Candidate MUST be local to Minnesota, and needs to have worked in a
Marketing or Advertising Agency OR a Software as a Service (SaaS) company
Position Required Experience
1. 3-5 years relevant Quality Assurance technical experience
2. Thorough understanding of the QA process, test cases, test
plans, bug/defect
reports
3. Previous work in agile environment and SAAS technology
4. Understanding of web based technologies. Job will require interacting
with programmers about these technologies, so this person should be able to
speak to them.
5. Possess a good understanding of various aspects of software
architecture, design and various hardware infrastructures.
6. Ability to reinforce good process, while remaining flexible to the
realities of working in an agency model
7. Diverse QA experience with exposure to different types of software
Position Responsibilities & Duties
8. Help validate that web sites, applications and systems meet design
specifications and requirements
9. Review functional and design specifications to ensure full
understanding of deliverables.
10. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case
requirements and design test plan.
11. In those cases where specifications are not complete, identify
undocumented components and validate functionality.
12. Identify any defects or quality issues and escalate issues
appropriately to management.
13. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
14. Work closely with QA, programmers, delivery coordinator and project
managers to ensure quality deliverables
15. Verify client reported issues and assist development with
troubleshooting
efforts.
16. Help organize reported bugs and changes within tracking system
17. Create test summary reports at the end of each test run.
