*Position : IT Delivery Lead * *Duration : 12-24 Months Location : Detroit, MI Phone and F2F or Skype (local highly preferred)* * Job Opportunity* - One of our clients, a Fortune 500 Company in Detroit, MI is looking for an IT Delivery Lead. - The IT Delivery Lead will be responsible for leading small IT delivery teams, supporting the planning, development and implementation of project efforts that utilize information technology solutions. - If you are looking to join an established company and further your development experiences this could be just the position for you. *Job Responsibilities * - Lead the day-to-day activities for one or more delivery teams. - Ensure alignment to software delivery processes/best practices, and work with project managers to developer, establish, maintain project management standards, and procedures. - Contribute to the development of detailed project plans; identify resources needs to support delivery efforts and coordinating the daily activities of the development teams in alignment with project plans. - Refinement of requirements, project coordination, development of plans and schedules, resource planning, estimation, and project maintenance. - Facilitating and leveraging the entire life-cycle of IT investments in infrastructure and systems. - Once a project is set in motion, IT Delivery lead professionals are expected to communicate major milestones, identify potential project risks, provide continuing direction to the delivery teams and communicate project status regularly. - Throughout the project life-cycle you obtain feedback to ensure project efforts meet customer expectations for contracted time, cost, and performance. *Job Qualifications* - Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. - 5 years of IT work experience, including 2 years managing projects required. - Minimum 2 years of Project MGMT (Planning/Controlling/Scheduling/RPTG) experience is required. - Minimum 2 years of Technical PM background experience is required. - Minimum 2 years of SAP Process Orchestration and Java/J2EE experience is desired. - Minimum 2 years of IBM Message Broker and DataPower experience is desired. - Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills required. Excellent Leadership and Analysis proficiency required.
