Appreciate if you would let me know any candidates on the Below position *Position Details : * *Client Name * Abiomed *Work Location* Danvers, MA(locals only) *Project Duration* 6 months+ *Number of Open Positions* 2 *Job Title* Software Test Development Engineer *Hiring Mode – (FTT/ C2C/FTE/Contract)* Contract Description of Duties: This individual will be responsible for developing and executing protocols for testing software-based heart assist devices. Duties shall include: · development of the test protocols, · development of any required test software or test simulators, · execution of the test protocols, · documentation of the results. All development and documentation shall be performed in accordance with the company’s quality system. Strong personal and communications skills are required as this person will interact closely with other members of the design team to define and develop tests, and generate report results. Educational and Experience Requirements: · A BS degree in electrical engineering or computer science. · 3+ years experience in software quality assurance or software testing within regulated industries. · Experience in designing and using electrical fixtures for V&V activities. · Proficient in designing and writing software test documentation – protocols and reports. · Agile/SCRUM experience · Automated test experience · Prior experience with safety-critical or medical devices a big plus. · Prior experience in embedded software development or testing preferred. · Prior experience in algorithm-based product testing a plus. · Prior experience with test simulator development a plus. · Fundamental C++ & C programming skills a plus.
