As a Sr Performance Engineer, you will be part of a world class team
ensuring the performance, capacity, and reliability of our applications and
infrastructure serving a worldwide client base. You will work in a fast
paced and highly technical collaborative team environment developing
innovative solutions for capacity and performance testing complex
multi-tiered applications.

*As a Sr Performance Engineer your key roles and responsibilities include: *
- Being responsible for the development of test strategies for projects
that may span multiple products, technologies and test disciplines.
- Working closely with LexisNexis and vendor resources to ensure test cases
and acceptance criteria adhere to requirements and are accurately validated
during the certification process.
- Providing guidance and oversight for improvements to software
measurement, metrics and analytical techniques.
Key accountabilities are documented through performance objectives and may
include:
- Work collaboratively with the business, architects, and developers to
define non-functional requirements (NFRs), identify gaps, assess
capability, and document risks.
- Develop performance and capacity models.
- Develop project estimates as part of the concept and project planning
process.
- Define key metrics and instrumentation for measuring and monitoring
performance and capacity.
- Identify trends through the use of metrics to forecast quality and
release readiness.
- Design and implement performance and capacity testing solutions using a
variety of third party and custom tools in a distributed highly available
environment
- Troubleshoot complex configuration, infrastructure, networking, and
application problems that could impact the performance or capacity of our
system.
- Provide release performance assessments and proactively communicate risks
and dependencies which may impact the reliability, performance and/or
availability of the product.
Upon acceptance of this role, the selected internal candidate will be
required to sign an updated Non-Competition Agreement or Non-Solicitation
and Non-Disclosure Agreement as a condition of continued employment.

*Qualifications: *
- Bachelors or Master’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and
experience in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or related fields of
Engineering or IT.
- 4+ years of experience in performance engineering with commercial
business-oriented software applications
