Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* QA Engineer *Project Location* Burbank, CA *Duration* 3 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI-Telephonic+Skype* *No H1B* * Responsibilities Include*: - Ensure the overall accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data that contained within the Amalga database. Works in an AGILE/SCRUM/XP environment using the latest processes and technologies to bridge the gap between customers, business analyst and developers. - Promotes quality assurance programs, policies, processes and procedures to ensure that performance and quality of products conform to established standards. - Develops test strategies/plans, test cases and test scripts for client/server systems based upon business requirements and processes, in line with defined workflows and use cases. - Performs Functional, System and Regression testing on client/server systems using Mercury and rational testing tools. - Creates SQL queries to set up test data. Prepares daily testing schedule and provides project progress reports using Mercury Tools. - Creates traceability matrixes to ensure system requirements, features and functionalities are covered by test scenarios and scripts. - Certifies system for release to the next testing stage or to production environment. *Required Skills & Experience:* - *A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.* - *Minimum 3 years of IT QA/QC experience plus 3 years of application development experience Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.* - *Experience with performance and scalability testing, latency testing a plus.
