*Job Title: *Database Analyst *Location: *Tallahassee, FL *Duration: *12+ Months *Job Description: Service Tasks:* *Contractor will perform the following tasks:* - Modify the Patient Reporting Investigating Surveillance Manager System (PRISM) daily; - Modify Structured Query Language (SQL) server 2008 R2 daily; - Design model objects (tables, views indexes) daily; - Modify PRISM Application Database (DB) objects daily; - Modify Microsoft Structured Query Language (MMSQL) T-SQL Microsoft Transact-Structured Query Language (T-SQL) daily; - Modify MSSQL Database Storage structures tables daily; - Modify MSSQL tables view indexes daily; - Develop ad-hoc queries on MSSQL Databases as specified daily; - Develop new DB objects in T-SQL in support of programming monthly; - Document system technical objects, business requirements, business processes, and system processes monthly; - Create and run script to promote Active Server Pages (ASP) objects to production web server daily; - Manage version control system for MSSQL objects in Visual Source Safe daily; - Manage production promotion for SQL Server Reporting Services, ASP pages and ad-hoc SQL daily; - Provide change management in a code promotion role for PRISM development team weekly; - Provide analytical services for system incidents and enhancements reported by PRISM daily; - Process defect help tickets to correct system errors within the time requested daily; - Process release help tickets to manage user requirements and enhancements within the time requested daily; - Provide analytical services for PRISM and specifically, the TB Consultation, Incentives and Enablers, and Surveillance projects to implement user-defined requirements and system enhancement estimates daily; - Process and submit data from PRISM to key partners and stakeholders per program requirements daily; - Provide analytical services on PRISM to identify operational efficiencies daily; - Deliver code to perform system functions as defined in user and system requirements weekly; - Collaborate with the Health Management System (HMS) technical staff to gather requirements needed to interface systems for HMS and PRISM weekly; - Delivers code requirements to HMS technical staff for implementation in scheduled HMS statewide release weekly; - Provide code for messaging services that transports data from PRISM to HMS weekly; - Perform testing on system changes to meet user-defined requirements daily; - Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with the TB program staff daily; - Provide project tasks updates during scrum meetings with Project Manager and developers daily; - Produce detailed accounting of hours worked by tasks monthly; - Ensure the continuity of the PRISM system for all PRISM users and reestablish system availability in the event the system is offline weekly; - Provide analytical services on Department of Health Information Technology (DOH IT) processes to identify operational efficiencies weekly; - Follow DOH IT processes and coordinate with other DOH IT staff to ensure compliance with DOH standards daily; - Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with Project Manager, TB and STD Section Administrators or designees regarding project activities, deliverables, and status daily; - Collaborates with Division of Disease Control and Health Protection (DCHP) information technology teams; design, develop, and code based on business requirements for the DCHP Master Person Index project as part of the overall strategic effort for integration and interoperability of its systems and software monthly; and - Participate in division level requests as directed by STD and Viral Hepatitis leadership monthly *Required Experience:* - Experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server Reporting Services 2014. - Experience with Rational Unified Process. - Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.2013. - Experience with ASP.net 3.5 and 4.5 and JavaScript - Demonstrated experience with SQL databases, DB2, and maintenance of databases in production application environments. - Education of AA or above in Databases, data processing, or related information technology field. - Demonstrated experience in the management of multiple projects, user support, and documentation of operational needs. - Experience with medical related application development and support. - Demonstrated experience with the development of web-based applications using asp.net.
