This role requires excellent communication skills, both with team members and business contacts. The DBA will be working with an intelligent, experienced, and close knit team of system administrators, developers, and testers on a variety of projects. *Required Skills :* 1. 6-8 years of verifiable experience administering, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as a Systems/Infrastructure DBA. 2. Experience working with Oracle versions 10g, 11g and 12c (preferred) in a UNIX environment a must. 3. Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Tuning skills (logical and physical). 4. Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is desired. 5. Experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN and supporting software suites, Database security, access management 6. Ability to plan and support Oracle database hardware and software upgrades and patching. 7. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be 'on call' to accommodate project deadlines and business requirements 8. DBA experience with SQL Server is a plus. o Experience with SQL Server 2012, 2008/R2 and replication of data from one version of SQL to another. o Design, implementation and maintenance of SQL Server databases including security, back-up, logging, reporting and recovery procedures o Upgrade and patch SQL Databases o Creating/tuning/optimizing indexes, stored procedures, DTS/SSIS packages and SQL jobs 9. Oracle/ SQL Server Database Certifications is plus. 10. College degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience. *Roles & Responsibilities * 1.
