Please go through the following requirement and send me resumes of your available consultants on [email protected] Title : SCM Lead Location : Melville, NY, United States Duration : 12+ Months Job Summary : Responsible for developing and applying Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices, to support the development, testing, and implementation of web based software applications. Individuals in this position will perform key activities such as software builds, release packaging, and delivery to multiple testing environments. Key Activities : . Execute automation scripts in support of software deployment/SCM activities. . Support SCM tool suite for users and conduct basic troubleshooting. Enter appropriate tickets and track to resolution issues identified. . Execute release builds using standard tools to support deployments. . Create new software repositories. . Conduct SCM training to users who need tool training, standards information and best practices. . Mentor SCM Analysts on for best practices and duties. . Plan, organize and lead complex activities. Establishes comprehensive schedules for the projects and activities. . Document and instruct team on SCM best practices . Coordinate and oversee software access reviews. . Independently performs all day-to-day assignments (routine and complex) . Ability to establish and enforce integration testing standards & process . Execute continuous integration strategies- daily build & deploy/smoke test/testing coverage and reporting Qualifications : . Experience with Build automation tool Jenkins, CA-LISA Release Deployment/Nolio . Experience with Jira, Dimensions, SonarQube ,Selenium a plus. . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. . Experience with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile/Scrum development. . Extensive experience with build technologies, such as (Ant, Make, etc.) . Good verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas with a diverse group of people. .
