*614-495-9222 * 484 Position: Security Engineer (USC/GC Only)* *Location: Hartford, CT Duration: 6+ months* The Security Engineer is a focused, hybrid of roles stemming from the following: technologist, researcher, consultant, and partner working as part of a cross-functional team supporting health exchange projects and other Customer’s needs. In this fast paced role, you will enhance security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members. *Primary Responsibilities: * • Determining security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analysis and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates • Plan security systems and controls by evaluating network and security technologies solutions for acquire entities and commercial customers in local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANS), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices, among others. • Design and lead the implementation of complex solutions to address the acquire entities security needs, like public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software, adhering to industry standards; as well as intrusion detection methodologies and equipment and complete supporting documentation. • Developing metrics that demonstrate current risk state, indicators of progress, and business alignment for those activities • Developing Threat and Vulnerability statistics and reporting, to make the Management Team aware of the vulnerability landscape • Conducts complex technology and process assessments for improving security capabilities and processes • Participating in the definition and lead programs that support the contractual security strategy with our customer • Acts as a subject matter expert to guide and craft complex security solutions • Responsible for creating presentations for Senior Level IRM staff • Establishes security criteria based on business, compliance, risk reduction and use case • Recommends security controls, improvements, upgrades and/or purchases • Occasional travel • Recommending changes, when appropriate, to security policies and control standards and operational practices *Required Qualifications: * • 5+ years of information security experience in either eCommerce, Cloud Computing, distributed infrastructures and/or heterogeneous environments • 5+ years of IT experience • 2+ years functional experience with IS security architecture and security principles, approaches, and technologies • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a discipline which compliments the role or equivalent experience • Active industry recognized certifications such as: CISSP, CIPP, CISA or other Functional experience as a strategy consultant • Working knowledge of security needs for operating systems, databases, applications, Web services, user devices, and networks • Good communications skills *Preferred: * • Functional experience support of Cloud Security Alliance Framework, HIPAA/HITECH, HITRUST, ISO or NIST • Functional experience with multiple market verticals, including financial services, healthcare, non-profits, consumer products, high-technology, and distributed architectures • Ability to quickly ascertain existing Optum methodologies and intellectual capital to customize for business partner situation, develop an approach to drive work efforts, and frame potential deliverables • General knowledge of IT Audit techniques • Ability to effectively conduct productive meetings with peers, vendors, directors and managers • Other experience or certifications, such as PMP, ITIL or Six Sigma *Please Send me your resume and fill your details in below mentioned table.* Requirement ID Full Name Full Date of Birth Gender Nationality Contact Email Skype ID SSN - Last 4 Visa Status Visa Validity Availability Total IT Experience Current Location Highest Education University Graduation Year Rate/Salary Remarks Thanks & Regards Prateek Bhardwaj United Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
