Title : QA Analyst Location : New York, United States Duration : 6+ Months Interview : Face to Face Skills, and Experience Required : . Must have 8+ years' work experience in a QA role. . Report and manage software issues and test activities with a clear understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and the agile methodology. . Minimum 2-3 years' hands on experience in programming language (C or C++) on Unix systems (Linux/Solaris) and code coverage tools. . Minimum 2-3 years' hands on experience on Scripting (Shell, Perl, Solaris). Strong in one of the scripting language is acceptable. . Minimum 2-3 years' hands on experience on RDBMS (Oracle or MySQL). . Expert knowledge of UNIX operating system administration. Red Hat is preferred. . Strong analytical and problem solving skills. . Strong verbal and written communication skills . Ability to work in a highly demanding, fast paced environment . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Desired Skills/Requirements : . Experience with trading and financial application . Experience with supporting production changes, UAT Testing and debugging prod issues . Experience testing in large-scale, multi-tier applications. . Good understanding of TCP/IP network protocols is a plus . Experience in testing 3rd Party Applications and Interfaces, and liaising with 3rd Party Software Vendors. .
