Description: · The candidate must have around 5 years of experience and should be an expert SA knowledge in any flavor of Linux, preferably Red hat or CentOS. · She/he must have working knowledge of Virtualization, Cloud & Shell Scripting. · Knowledge of Shell scripting is a must. · Knowledge of Configuration Management tools like Chef or Puppet is an advantage. · Knowledge and Experience in AWS Cloud is an advantage. · Knowledge of Java app servers and Web servers is a plus. The primary responsibilities would include: · Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. · Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. · Contribute to and maintain system standards. · Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. · Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all server resources · Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions. · Create, change, and delete user accounts per request. · Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. · Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning Key Skills: AWS Cloud Admin -- Thanks and Regards, Harry Charles, NPD GLOBAL INC...
